If you like to make
a contribution to this Centre,
a Pali word means "Living"
The Buddha said in
the Dhammapada V.204,
The teachings of the Buddha was aimed to elevate human predicament both in this world and the life to come. In the formula of seeking happiness, healthy living is essential to attain a healthy and calm mind. With an undeluded mind, our action, speech and thought are more controlled and not tainted by greed, hatred and ignorance.
We are more aware of our action and the surrounding. We mixed better with the society. We know what is right and what is wrong, what is wholesome and what is unwholesome.
This is the meaning of the Highest Gain.
In AMATA, we aim to serve others to gain a better Living through health programmes such as health service, health talk, fellowship with those who are neglected and so on.
AMATA is a Free Medical Orientated Service Centre. We functioned through the generous donation of the public and voluntarily service of its helpers. We belief in providing the best service through Right Understanding that as we live in this world there are also another beings living together with us who are less fortunate. It will only be right if we offer our hands to help them live a better life.
